The Peptide Longevity Serum

The repair step in the system. Formulated with precision, to support skin’s recovery from everyday oxidative stress.  

In laboratory testing on donated human skin samples, the serum counteracted 91% of the rise in oxidatively damaged protein caused by UV-A, and 91% of the loss of Collagen I. After pollution exposure, protein damage returned to unstressed levels.*

*Ex vivo study by OxiProteomics (2025) on human skin samples from one donor, three samples per group. The serum was applied after exposure to UV-A, or to urban dust (PM10) plus UV-A, and compared with untreated samples given the same exposure. The figures are efficacy scores: they show how much of the change caused by the exposure the serum reversed, not a percentage reduction in the total amount of damage. Oxidatively damaged protein across the whole skin: 91% counteracted after UV-A; after pollution, treated samples were back at unstressed levels. Collagen I: 91% counteracted after UV-A, 41% after pollution. These are laboratory results on skin samples.

Radical results require radical transparency

We are forensic. Environmental stress acts on the skin long before anything shows on the surface. The exposome - UV-A, pollution, the wear of daily life - generates oxidative stress, and oxidative stress damages the proteins skin quality depends on. That is the level our research works at: the proteome, the building blocks of beauty. We measure that damage directly, in the laboratory, on human skin samples. We publish the method, the conditions, and what it did not measure. Skincare should stop borrowing its language from nature and start showing its work. That is what we mean by radical transparency.

Ingredients

What is actually in these products?

Peptides, which are short chains of amino acids that signal the skin to repair and rebuild. Five distinct peptides across the range. Each product's full ingredient list is on its page. We use our own complexes, not licensed trade names, and we only include an ingredient when there is evidence it does something.

What is bioretinol?

A plant-derived alternative to retinol. Ours comes from Bidens pilosa, a flowering plant whose compounds act on the same receptors in the skin that retinol does. It is the heart of the Bioretinol Overnight Rich Cream. It supports texture, radiance and the look of fine lines without the dryness and peeling many people get from retinoids. It contains no retinol and no retinoid. It is not the same thing as retinol, and we do not claim it is stronger. It is gentler, and that is the point.

Do you use fragrance?

Not for its own sake. The serum, day cream and eye serum are fragrance-free. The Balm-to-Milk Cleanser and the Bioretinol Overnight Rich Cream contain chamomile essential oil, chosen for its calming properties, so they carry a soft natural scent and we do not describe them as fragrance-free.

Is it natural? Is it clean?

It is neither, in the marketing sense. We began closer to clean beauty and moved on. The peptides are made in a laboratory, because that is the only way to make them precisely. We now describe what we do as sustainable biotechnology: ingredients from plant and microbial sources, made with intent, chosen for proof of effect. We will not use "natural" as a shorthand for "good".

What do you leave out?

Parabens and PEGs. Beyond that we do not publish a long list of things we avoid, because that list tells you nothing about whether a product works. Each product has its own preservation system, chosen for that formula rather than applied across the range. Preserved with intent. Never a blanket protocol.
