Barrier & Hydration

The barrier is the wall. Hydration is what it holds and locks-in. When the wall is compromised, water leaves, and everything after it is harder. Skin feels tight after cleansing, reacts to products it used to accept, looks red in places and rough in others.

Nothing works on skin that is busy defending itself, so we start here, at the first point of contact for prepping the skin. We want to start from zero, not a deficit, respect the barrier, keep hydration locked in, and the rest of the routine has something to build on. Skin health first, results after.

Balm-to-Milk Cleanser, never stripping. Tripeptide Antioxidant Day Cream for comfort through the day. Peptide Longevity Serum, working on the proteins that hold it together.

Frequently asked questions

Why would I start with a cleanser?

Because nothing can work on skin whilst it is busy defending itself. A cleanser that strips the barrier undoes the rest of the routine before it begins. The Balm-to-Milk Cleanser removes makeup, SPF and the day's build-up and leaves skin comfortable.

My skin feels tight after cleansing. Is that normal?

It is common, and it is not a good sign. Tightness means the cleanse took more than it should have. This one is a balm-to-milk texture with nourishing lipids, including olive-derived phyto squalane, so skin is clean without being strippe

Is the serum too much for skin that is easily upset?

There is no retinol or retinoid in it, and it works over time rather than forcing a change at the surface. Start with the cleanser, let your skin settle, then introduce the serum.
