This cookie policy explains how Wilde Beauty Limited ("Wilde Beauty", "Romilly Wilde", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on romillywilde.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data more generally.
Wilde Beauty Limited (company number 07543855) is registered in England and Wales. Our contact details are in section 7.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit it. Cookies let a site recognise your device, remember your actions and preferences, and understand how the site is being used.
We also use similar technologies that work in comparable ways, including pixels, tags, software development kits and local storage. In this policy we refer to all of these as "cookies".
Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another organisation whose service we use are called third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
2. Your consent
When you first visit our website, we show you a cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically, because the site cannot work without them and the law does not require your consent for them.
All other cookies are only set if you accept them. You can accept all, reject all, or choose which categories you want. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and refusing non-essential cookies will not stop you from browsing or buying from us.
You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page.
3. The categories of cookie we use
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the website to function. They let you move around the site, keep items in your basket, log in to your account, and complete checkout securely. They also help us detect and prevent fraud. These cookies cannot be switched off.
Functional
These remember choices you make, such as your country, currency and language, so the site works the way you expect on your next visit. They also support features such as product reviews.
Performance
These help us understand how visitors find and use the site, which pages are popular, and where people run into problems, so we can improve it. The information is used in aggregate.
Targeting
These are used to show you communications and advertising that are relevant to you, and to measure whether they work. They may be set by the providers we use and can be used to build a picture of your interests.
We are compiling a full list of the individual cookies used on our website, including who sets them and how long they last. We will publish it here once it is complete. In the meantime, you can control each category using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by other organisations whose services we use. These providers may use the information they collect for their own purposes. We do not control these cookies.
The providers we currently use are:
- Shopify, which hosts our online store and processes your order
- Klaviyo, which we use for email marketing and to understand how you use the site
- Okendo, which we use for product reviews and our loyalty programme
- Pandectes, which records and manages your cookie choices
Each provider publishes its own privacy notice explaining how it handles your data.
Where these providers are based outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we put appropriate safeguards in place for the transfer, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. How to manage your preferences
On our website
Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page. You can change your choices, or withdraw your consent completely, at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything that happened before you withdrew it.
In your browser
Most browsers let you see what cookies you have, block them, and delete them. The controls are usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking all cookies will stop parts of our website from working, including the basket and checkout.
6. Changes to this policy
We keep this cookie policy under review. This version was last updated on 1 September 2026. If we start using cookies for a materially different purpose, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again.
7. Contact us
If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please contact us:
- Email: hello@romillywilde.com
- Post: Wilde Beauty Limited, Alexandra House, St Johns Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP1 2SB, United Kingdom
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at www.ico.org.uk, or, if you are in the European Economic Area, to your national supervisory authority.
